The Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce  has invited us to write an article on intercultural communication for the official publication of the Chamber.

German managers negotiating with Canadian business associates, French technicians training Chinese joint venture partners, or Japanese academics conferring with Finnish and Indian researchers - these types of intercultural business meetings are rather the norm than the exception today, and in cases where the cultural "rules" of the other team may be quite different from one's own, having intercultural communication skills can be the key to successful business relations.
